SPARX, with Anne Sullivan, harp, and Joan Sparks, flute
Christmas isn't complete without flute and harp, and SPARX proudly presents their tribute to the music of the season, Christmas Echoes. For this recording SPARX commissioned composer Scott Lavender to arrange three medleys of traditional Christmas music; a collection of Christmas lullabies (Slumber Sweet), a merry bell medley (Weihnachtsglocken) and a suite of medieval carols (Christmas Echoes). Truly inspiring music for the season of peace!
Program: Slumber Sweet, arranged by Scott Lavender • Sinfonia, from Bach's Christmas Oratorio • Weihnachtsglocken, arranged by Scott Lavender • Le Sommeil de l'Enfant Jesus, by Busser • Christmas Echoes, arranged by Scott Lavender
