This piece pairs the traditional Thanksgiving hymn “We Gather Together” to the tune Kremser, and William Arms Fisher’s “Goin’ Home,” the well-known song based on the theme from the second movement of Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, "From the New World."
The two pieces combine in a medley that is perfectly themed for Thanksgiving or any time of year. The piece is three pages long and has just one lever or pedal change.
